- These steam cleaners are expensive, but worth every penny if you use them to their full potential
- We do not recommend steam cleaners as overall carpet cleaners, except with the infrequent upkeep of new carpet, since it is too time consuming for most people. However, steam cleaners on carpets are great for controlling dust mites, and removing stains – especially with the help of a little Formula 212 spot cleaner, which is second to none
