I am getting a slew of questions around how to pick out the
best vacuum cleaner. I understand that sometimes we can confuse
you with our choices. Let me simplify things for you. There are
various machines, each are best for different situations. So the
real answer is "it all depends." We do not bother
selling the cheap and ineffective vacuum cleaners sold in the big
chain stores. We only sell vacuum cleaners that REALLY work
for the allergy sufferer. That being said, people who buy vacuum
cleaners tend to fall into several categories. Please go to our
store to read the our ratings and reviews.
You have bare floors.
Choose between the Sanitaire SystemPro or Miele Orion Standard package. For college dorm rooms, or limited spaces,
the Electrolux Pronto 2 in 1 stick vacuum is a bargain at $99.97.
You have bare floors and a few scatter
rugs.
This is a question
of budget. Choose between the Electrolux Harmony at $298 or SEBO C2.1 at $589. Personally, I use the Sebo C2.1 in my home, and I love it. However, the Electrolux Harmony is remarkable
value for money. Better value than any other machine at that price
point.
You prefer uprights and have a few bare floors.
Eureka Sanitaire
SC5815 Commercial top of the line is just the best upright vacuum
cleaner around. I am interested to see a new Eureka Upright coming
soon that is a bit cheaper, but it will not have some of the features
of the Sanitaire.
You have a great deal of cat or dog hair.
Miele Capricorn canister vacuum and the Sebo X4 Upright. If you
like canister vacuums the Miele Capricorn is our category winner and a beautiful machine. The Electrolux Oxygen3 canister is a new serious contender to this category and we were very
impressed when we tested it out. The Electrolux Oxygen has a great deal
of whistles and bells.
You have a good number of carpets as well
as bare floors.
Your choices are the Miele Red Velvet at
$1249, Electrolux Oxygen3 Ultra at $499.99 and Miele Solaris S514 at $649. For
my money, I really like the Oxygen3; although
I own and adore my Miele Red Velvet, it is pricey.
