Miele came out with the Cadillac of upright vacuum cleaners with their new Miele S7 HEPA Vacuums, just at the beginning of the recession. They have all the features that you could possibly want in an upright vacuum and I was actually unable to find a fault with them except for carping about the price. However, the manufacturer has reduced the price by $100 so they are well worth taking a serious look at. The new Miele S7210 Twist Upright Vacuum is also very keenly priced at $549 although not on sale.
