This
is a nifty eureka vacuum cleaner, but NOT the best for serious allergy
sufferers, especially if you want to vacuum up cat allergen but
will do fine on larger particulates such as pollen. We sell it to
our commercial accounts for use in offices. However, I cannot resist
telling you about it as it only weighs 13 lbs and the handle folds
down for compact storage. It is REALLY small by comparison to your
regular sized vacuum cleaner and surprisingly powerful. This eureka
vacuum has micro filtration bags but no separate hepa filter. This
vacuum cleaner would be also perfect for the person in a small apartment
or college dorm. It has lots of great features such as seamless
carpet to bare floor operations and a bag change indicator, onboard
tools that are pretty decent, ability to drop down flat to get underneath
furniture. It even hooks onto a maid's cart in hotels. It would
not be a good machine if you had shag carpeting but with all types
of other carpets it works and is surprisingly powerful. As a commercial
vacuum cleaner it is built to last. So, if you want a compact upright
eureka vacuum, at $229 this is a real steal. Remember. Great little
eureka vacuum cleaner but not for those for serious allergies.
