Dust Mite Powders – Why We Do Not Sell Them

The answer to your questions…Why we do not sell powders that kill dust mites?

First, we believe they are not good for your carpets and remain in the fibers as no vacuum is perfect at removing them. If you have small children or pets who play on your carpets, you may not want them exposed to the powder.

Second, you do not want to sprinkle dust mite powder onto your bed (where most dust mites are), your upholstery or your clothes.

Third, to do it right you need repeated applications and at considerable cost over time as opposed to using a vapor steam cleaner.

Fourth, a lot of people are sensitive to chemicals found in these dust mite powders.

Fifth, the kill rate in steam cleaners is better.
