Get Rid of Dust Bunnies on Hard Floors
Dust allergy sufferers product recommendationOne of the by-products of having dust allergies is that one ends up with a lot of hardwood or other floors that need cleaning. I am always amazed at the large dust balls that accumulate in no time flat. Moreover, these dust balls seem to gather in the most awkward of places which require you to get on your hands and knees in order to clean them up. I also hate mops. The mops from my past slopped too much water over the floor, were difficult to wring out, and smelled as they slowly dried. Having a collection of ineffective mops to my name, I will share with you one of the best.
Our top pick is a damp mop called the Shh-mop and is the best invention to get underneath furniture in order to get at the elusive dust. The Shh-mop is hinged at the bottom so that the mop can get under furniture in order to get at the dust without you bending down [hurrah!]. It also has a large rectangular cleaning surface which comes with its own toweling cover. This means that you can take the toweling cover off at the end of your labors and throw it in the washing machine – hence no smelly damp mops. The only drawback to this mop is you need to take the towel off the bottom of the mop, and rinse the towel out by hand and replace it onto the mop head in order to continue with longer jobs. However, it does a great job of getting all the dust up off the floor, and it manages to go where no man has gone before.
Shh-mop is available at your local hardware store.
