I still have a Blueair in my bedroom since my husband cannot stand the noise of any other machine. Does it do a good job? Well, here was a strange test recently. I have been trying out an ionizer at the request of a manufacturer. In our offices the collection plate registered quite a bit of visible dust particles. But in my bedroom at home where the Blueair resides, after one week I had a hard time finding even a spec of dust on the collection plate. That tells me something, besides I have not had any sinus infections since using it for the last 18 months. I can also tell you that the filters last a lot longer than what the manufacturers project, so the filter replacement cost is not quite as much as figured in our original review.
