Extreme Makeover Home Edition Turns To AllergyBuyersClub.com For Advice
Dear Everyone,
The Internet is a great resource for education on healthy home products, but we were honored when Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the hit ABC television show, turned to us for advice on how to furnish a house for allergy control for its recent May 7th, 2006 show featuring the Peter family.
The Peter family from New York City was living in the charred remains of a fire ravaged house with no utilities, and no hope of restoring the house due to inadequate insurance. Their youngest child, Ashley suffers from Asthma which worsened after the fire due to the constant inhalation of smoke particles.
Four members of our company volunteered their time and worked alongside the crew from Extreme Makeover Home Edition to provide a healthy home environment for the family, and in particular an allergen free bedroom for Ashley. All of our volunteers labeled their experience on the Extreme Makeover location as nothing less than “extraordinary” and one which they will remember for life.
The AllergyBuyersClub.com team equipped Ashley’s bedroom with natural bedding, dust mite encasings, a latex organic mattress, non-toxic bedroom furniture and special air purification products. In addition, they gave the Peter family water filters, special Hepa vacuums and vapor steam cleaners so that the whole house could be kept free of pollutants.

| Hygrometer/Thermometer This is a great device for measuring the humidity level in Ashley’s room to prevent mold and dust mites. We recommend not going above 50% humidity in the room for asthma sufferers. |
