Our new bedding collection this Fall is all simply
to die for, dream about, hint to your honey for the
holiday gift list, or plain just go ahead spoil yourself.
Our sales people were asking for training the other
day on our new bedding lines and I said, “What
more is there to say, it’s absolutely gorgeous
and simply irresistible!” Most, if not all, is
hypoallergenic and made out of healthy fibers and fabrics,
which makes for an excusable rationale to buy it!

My husband and I have been fighting over our one set of organic
towels. They are softer and more absorbent than any other towels we
own. I hide these towels the far end of the bathroom, and he always finds
them. So they are damp when I want to use them. I am giving in and buying

The other day I came home from work, and my husband said that the cleaning
lady wants to know if she can use the “grey vacuum” she just

BOSCH ELECTRO DUO VACUUM
This is a new HEPA entry into the increasingly popular compact canister vacuum
market, and our testing team thought it was pretty impressive both from a
performance and filtration perspective. While we did think that the accessories
did not switch out as easily as the Miele’s, we absolutely fell in
love with their new compact powerhead, and the design and comfort of its
handle. Above all, we admired how easily it can be maneuvered What I personally
liked about this new powerhead design, is I had no qualms about using it
on my highly polished wood floors.

FELIX VACUUM CLEANERS BY SEBO
Call me an old fashioned skeptic, but I have taken a while to warm up to
the idea of the new and rather peculiar looking upright vacuum cleaner
by Sebo. Having sat down recently with Sebo’s president who was
extolling their virtues, I realize that I may have been judging them
too harshly. The Felix
Classic Upright and its less expensive siblings is aimed at the generation
Xers, to make vacuuming a bit more trendy and fun (so no wonder it did
not appeal to me!). The Felix Uprights looks like a cross between a stick
and a regular vacuum, and reminds me of something my mother used in the
1950s. While I am not a fan of any upright vacuum, they remain the vacuum
cleaner style of choice for 85% of the U.S. population. So in order to
give the Felix a fair shake, I should point out to you that it is a S
Class (hepa equivalent) vacuum with awesome suction, huge bags, an optional
super floor brush that can be attached and changed exceptionally easily
with its powerhead, which can be adjusted to the height of the carpet. |

Unnerving at first is its maneuverability, since this vacuum turns at its neck
and performs at the flick of the wrist. For those who want the superior carpet
suction of a traditional upright vacuum without the lumbering weight, the Felix
can be picked up easily and is lighter weight than most. A nifty innovative feature
is its ability to be detached from its handle and used as a handheld canister
when you are cleaning stairs and upholstery. So if you want a cool, trendy vacuum
cleaner for your kids or even for yourself, this could be it!

HUMIDIFIERS
Most people prefer cool mist humidifiers, and remember that our Air-O-Swiss
humidifier (withallows you to switch seamlessly from warm to cool mist operation.
Personally, in the North- east, I prefer a warm mist, as I do not like the
slightly clammy feel to cool mist humidifiers. A warm mist also seems to
humidify a room faster.

(imagine carrying five jugs of milk at once!), and necessitate the man of the
house to put the filling of the humidifier on his nightly “honey do” list.

When I saw these at a trade show many months ago, I grinned from ear to
