Allergy Consumer Review Issue #9

Dear Everyone,

Sometimes running AllergyBuyersClub.com holds special challenges. As you know we review, rate and critique the products we sell- a unique concept in an industry that is prone to say everything is wonderful. Mostly manufacturers have been happy enough to go along with our approach and we always check out with them the accuracy of our critiques.

I was amazed recently, to receive sharp criticism from one of the manufacturers of one of our best selling product lines for putting anything negative in a review of their products. I went and looked at the reviews in question, they were glowing and the criticisms minor, but the manufacturer wanted it to be picture perfect. The review still stands, but I do run the risk of not being able to sell a superb product just because I did not say it was perfect.
So I thought you would find it interesting to read an excerpt from the email from the manufacturer (name deleted) and an excerpt from my response.

We are in the middle of reviewing and adding a number of products to the site and I have enclosed a couple reviews in this issue which should be brought to your attention.

We have also in addition to the two products reviewed here, we added Clarifier air filters, and Delonghi air conditioners and Delonghi dehumidifiers.
