Allergy Consumer Review Issue #5
Allergy Consumer Review Issue #5Dear Everyone,
A question I am often asked by potential angel investors is why did I found AllergyBuyersClub.com? I find myself justifying our existence in terms of the great business opportunity etc. All true, but there is more to it. As I have grown older I have come to realize that health is the most precious gift we have in life – all too close to home as I have a mother with Alzeimers. Three years ago, I knew I wanted to create a business that would contribute to health in some way. The opportunity presented itself to me in a serendipitous way. I had been waking up with crashing headaches for 10 years, addicted to heavy duty painkillers, 18 different medical professionals had given 18 different erroneous diagnoses [I will spare you the details].
Number 19 told me I was allergic to my house.
I then began a quest to learn all I could about the disease and what products I could use to relieve my symptoms and perhaps prevent them from occurring. After a two-year odyssey, a self taught education, and hundreds of wasted dollars, I finally found products that worked for me. Still working as a management consultant, I became a “talking head” to those of my CEO clients I found suffering with allergy and sinus problems. One of them offhandedly suggested I make a business of it! And the rest, as they say, is history. And for my headaches – they are history for the most part too. I want to give you great in-depth medical information, other people to talk to – medical professionals and allergy sufferers. And, near and dear to my heart is honest information about products. Sure, AllergyBuyersClub.com needs to make money- all businesses do. But I want to make money by being responsible about the products we sell and the information we give you about products and our medical information. In time, AllergyBuyersClub.com wants to earn your respect, trust and loyalty. We try hard.
